"V
Drill" is an exercise often used by top marching bands and drum corps
that works specifically on shallow angle direction changes. Students
line up in ranks of 4 on the yardlines 12 steps behind the front
sideline. Students step off every 4 counts and after all have stepped
off the form makes a pattern of a "V" on the feild. At the end of the
exercise (tell the performers how many yardlines they will move over)
each performer will close and then get out of the way of the next
person. (Each yardline traveled will take 24 counts).
