Positively Life Changing

This phrase is used in describing the BOA Summer Symposium and it is not just marketing.  It's true.  Dynamic Marching had the opportunity to teach 100 students from all over the country in Bloomington/Normal, Illinois at the BOA Summer Symposium.  The students who attended came from a wide vaiety of programs and backgrounds and got a chance to work with some of the best teachers in the country.  Represented on the staff were teachers from Carmel, Avon, Center Grove, Pomona (CO), VIsta(CA), and Carolina Crown.  Why every band in the country does not send at least a handful of kids to this camp every year is beyond me.  The amount of fundamentals, leadership training, and rehearsal techniques learned were too numerous to count.  The students were able (in just four short days) to learn two pieces of music, a stretch and body routine, marching fundamentals, and music basics... all of which will help them when they return to their respective programs.

Many thanks to the staff of Music For All for superior attention to detail and organization.  Many thanks to Carolina Crown for letting our kids be a part of the Corps for a few days.  SWAGS!  Great job.  Thank you to Fred J. Miller, Inc. for providing uniforms for the students.  A big thank you to all of the staff of Dynamic Marching for superior teaching.
