General Description of This Show

Imagine your in the red hot desert, in a far off, middle eastern land.  Your senses begin play tricks on you.  Everything is a blurred and seems to be an Illusion.  That is the visual imagery of this show!  With a middle eastern flair,  Mirage is a proven crowd and judge favorite.  Visually think about things that appear and reappear. Create as many visual tricks to the eyes as possible.  Movement 1 starts with a pre-show with a hip groove, then has a mysterious solo for wind controller or any other instrument (most amplified solos in the show should use lots of effects to create a mysterious sound). Then the drumline takes off and the whole band gets into the Slammin!   A grooving 7/4 section that features the sax section and then later the entire woodwind section is finished buy an exciting hit.  Then a new lyrical section featuring several  soloists (several options here)  then wraps up with an exciting end.  Movement 2  "Uninvited" (Alanis Morrisette), featured an eerie flute and a trumpet (Harmon Mute).   This was very effective.   Copyright clearance is required  for this movement.  Not included in price. Movement 3  There are several drafts of this movement.  The version posted  is the longest version I have.  This movement starts with a mysterious beginning, a happy tutti section (we cut this in the final draft),  and followed by percussion focus .  The  final movement cranks up the tempo and wraps-up with a Middle Eastern techno groove.
